The cook of Calendula’s restaurant, Iolanda Bustos, designed plates with autochthonous flowers of our vineyard

One month ago the cook of the Calèndula’s restaurant in Girona, Iolanda Bustos, moved up to our vineyard to gather autochthonous flowers to design his plates. Finally, last Thursday we could taste his exquisite work united with each of our wines.

Initially of every plate the owner of the warehouse Martin FaixĂł, Ester Martin, explained the characteristics of every wine, justifying the gastronomic union created by Iolanda. For the cook, “Cap de Creus’s vegetation has extremes characteristics, It has been necessary adapting to the climate, relief and a landscape. Some people defined Cap de Creus’s landscape as the marine Priorat. These characteristics are transmitted to the singular personality of the wines Martin FaixĂł. During the degustation of wines and food creations, you will feel like walking in the middle of the stone’s ways of Cap de Creus, feeling the wind of tramontana and breathing the breeze of his sea”.

We hope that assistants were enjoying the dinner as us. Congratulations Iolanda!
