The cold north wind was not an obstacle to dispute the barrels’ race
MartÃn Faixó winery organized last Saturday, the 23rd of February, the second edition of the Open Doors. Around 130 people defied the cold north wind to know the wines that are elaborated in this warehouse placed in the heart of the Cap de Creus.
The assistants took part in a guided tour for the winery and later they tasted different wine references: red Perafita, picapoll Perafita and rosé Perafita. After the lunch inside Perafita house, the owners organized games. The race of barrels was the most crowded activity. In this edition the winner of the men’s category was Xavi Llamas and of the women’s category, Neus Bosacoma. The winners received a lot of wines MartÃn Faixó. Stretched of rope and the sacks’ race were last activities of the day .
