A jury formed by 140 tasters, teachers, students and ancient students of the Escola Hosteleria of Girona and of the Escola de Tastavins of  Gironés, enologists, sommeliers and restaurants’ owners gave the golden medal to the Perafita’s rosé wine 2011 in XVII edition of  Catalonia’s wine contest Girovi ‘ 12.

It is the only contest in which are represented all catalan wine regions. According to the experts, Perafita’s rosé is characterized by a colour that remembers strawberries, with violet reflections. Elaborated with 60 % of Merlot and 40 % of Garnatxa, it is a young and fresh wine that unites perfectly with fish’s rice and Mediterranean salads.
